Rights Director

Our client, a leading London based, and highly successful trade publishing house has a rare opening for a highly capable and experienced Rights Director to drive group Rights and Co-Edition strategy and sales.

In our view, this is a super career opportunity for the right candidate with ambition and drive and suitable experience to help this publisher build on their growing market dominance.

Reporting to the Managing Director, you’ll be directing the Rights of very highly regarded commercial and trade titles and book products under numerous Company imprints; including award-winning Adult & Children’s fiction and non-fiction books.

We are looking for excellent Rights candidates with a ‘high performing can do’ attitude, someone who is just as comfortable leading Rights sales from the front (when necessary) as they are steering the strategic direction of group Rights sales and managing the in-house team.

Naturally, you’ll have a first class reputation and have the ability to work closely in a collegiate way with a number of high profile divisional directors from publishing to publicity, finance etc.

The role is London based and offers an excellent salary plus bonus potential as well as good Company benefits.

We’d like to hear confidentially from all interested candidates who feel that this opportunity may suit them and looks of interest.

In confidence, to find out more, please contact Danny Parnes at Gregory Martin Search via danny@thinkselection.com and include your CV/Intro note and please remember to mention your salary. Alternately please call me on 07958 208817 in complete confidence to tell us about yourself.

Look forward to hearing from you.
