A rare opportunity has come up to join a leading independent trade book company, who have asked Think Selection to be the exclusive recruiter to find a Publicity & Marketing Assistant to join their friendly PR & Marketing team in an entry-level role.
The London-based company publishes stunning ranges of successful genre-led adult fiction on subjects including Fantasy and Thrillers, YA; and illustrated books on popular culture.
As Publicity & Marketing Assistant your role is to provide administrative support to the team. You’ll help to co-ordinate social media activity, maintain content on the main website, create newsletters and support with the planning and attendance of author events.
Publicity responsibilities include:
Organising and sending materials for the PR team’s mail-out’s to reviewers.
Tracking and updating the media database with reviews and coverage.
Maintaining the contact database with reviewers and influencers on social media platforms.
Handling requests for reviews.
Marketing:
Maintaining the promotional calendar for new book releases, including drafting copy and scheduling posts across social media channels.
Collaborating with the marketing team on social media campaigns and competitions
Monitoring social media activity and responding to public enquiries.
Designing social media visuals
We’re looking for great candidates who would relish the opportunity to support in the promotion of books celebrating pop culture and genre fiction.
You’ll need the full right to work in the UK, and you’ll be based from the offices in Central London a minimum 2 days per week after spending 3-4 days per week in the offices for training during the first few weeks.
