A rare new PR opportunity has come up with our client, a leading independent publisher of popular culture, entertainment and genre fiction books, who have asked us to be the exclusive recruiter to find a Publicist to join their Marketing & Publicity team.
Your role as Publicist will be to create and deliver publicity and promotional campaigns for key genre fiction, cult non-fiction and entertainment titles across all media including online.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you’ll work with fiction authors to promote their new works, and with leading brands to publicise high profile illustrated nonfiction books.
You’ll secure interviews, features, reviews and coverage in UK broadcast, print and online media, and organise key UK author and literary events including signings, talks, author tours and festivals.
This role will suit someone with a minimum 18 months’ PR experience in looking for their next career move.
The company is based in Central London and you’ll be based from there a minimum 2-3 days per week.
