Editor (Education Publishing)

Think Selection is thrilled to be recruiting an Editor for a successful and well-established independent Education Publishing company, a leading provider of quality education resources for early years.

As the company continues to grow, this new role has been created as part of their ongoing development strategy.

As part of a friendly and collaborative editorial team, your main role as Editor will be to refine a range of backlist titles and resources, ensuring they stand out together with the new offerings.
This is a highly creative role as it entails making significant updates to a selection of titles.

There’s ample opportunity to learn in the job and the potential for advancement into front-list projects in the future.

We’re looking for talented editorial candidates educated to degree level with strong editorial skills who’ll thrive in a fast-paced publishing environment. We’re especially interested in talking with candidates who have a background in education publishing and primary teaching experience. Experience with Adobe Photoshop and InDesign would be beneficial.

The company is based to the north east of London, and a hybrid working pattern of 2 days per week in the offices is offered. A competitive salary and company benefits are on offer to the successful candidate.

If you’re passionate about children’s education and keen to make a real difference through your work, we’d love to hear from you. For more details, in confidence, please send your CV to Julia Brown at Think Selection – julia@thinkselection.com
