Our client, a fast-growing and well-respected trade book publishing group have asked us to find a Commissioning Editor to help them develop their sports books list.
As Commissioning Editor, your role will be to build on a successful commercial list by acquiring author-led, licensed & branded and general non-fiction sports books for international markets.
We are looking for talented candidates with good editorial experience and a passion for sports book publishing as you’ll be creating and managing the programme from idea to launch, working with high profile brands, agents and authors and on new concepts.
You’ll be joining the publisher at an exciting time as they are branching out into new markets and creating stunning products. This role would suit someone with a creative flair for producing commercial books who thrives in a fast-paced non-corporate environment.
A competitive salary is on offer to the winning candidate depending of course on the experience you bring to the role. You’ll be based from the company’s London offices for at least 3 days per week.
