Think Selection is recruiting on behalf of a dynamic and collaborative publishing company based in central London who have asked us to find a highly organised and proactive Production Controller to join their friendly team.

Our client, a successful international partworks publisher, is known for producing bestselling collectable series across craft, model-building and comics in partnership with leading international licensors. Part of a leading global publishing group. their titles are published in the UK, US, Australia and other English-language markets.

As Production Controller, you’ll manage the full production process for your own range of titles, ensuring they are delivered to schedule and budget. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external suppliers across the UK, Europe and the Far East, liaising with printers, finishers, forwarders and covermount suppliers to maintain high standards and smooth delivery throughout the production cycle.

This varied role offers the opportunity to contribute to new launches and maintain long-running titles in a business that values quality, creativity and teamwork.

You’ll need proven experience in a print production role — ideally within publishing or a related industry — as well as excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and confidence using Excel. Familiarity with Sage or similar systems would be a plus.

The salary is up to £37,000 depending on experience. The role offers a hybrid working pattern with three days per week in the company’s Central London offices and two from home.
