Marketing Director

Our client, a highly respected trade and academic publishing house has asked Think Selection exclusively to recruit a Marketing Director to lead all marketing activities for their non-fiction publishing.

The Marketing Director reports to the Sales & Marketing Director and as well as leading the marketing department, the Press & PR team will also report directly to them.

This company has a great reputation and ambitious growth plans and publishes narrative and topical non-fiction for global markets.

The Marketing Director will also have the opportunity to work on the wider marketing activities companywide as well as be fully involved in book and author acquisition.

This publisher is looking for someone creative with a great can-do attitude. You’ll need to be commercially minded, willing to be hands-on and have proven marketing experience working with some high-profile authors.

Your role will include leading, creating and developing and implementing marketing plans for selected titles in line with the company strategy and budgets. You’ll also work with all the creative aspects of marketing; media, traditional, online, digital, broadcast, print and liaising with media buying agencies/ third party agencies to deliver highly effective campaigns that result in sales.

The salary range for this London based post is very attractive and will depend on the level of experience you bring to the role.
